Samak Landscape

 SAMAK LANDSCAPE Pvt. Ltd. came into being in April 1984 on a pressing need for competent professional consultancy services in Landscape Designing and Horticulture development.

The concept and the company were brought to life by Mr. K.C Sharma (CMD), a renowned horticulturist in his own right and landscape designer of repute who has made his mark both in the country as well as overseas. Mr. K.C Sharma is the ex-Director – Horticulture of New Delhi Municipal Council and the person who was responsible for designing and developing great gardens like Nehru Park (65 acres), Lodhi Garden (100 acres), Talkatora Garden (47 acres), Children’s Park, India Gate (15 acres) etc. in New Delhi during his tenure. 

He has been honored and awarded in year 1992-93 by the then Prime Minister Shri Chandrashekhar for his contribution towards the environment and the landscape industry. He became the cynosure of all eyes when, after selection by the Government of India to design and create an Indian garden at Liverpool, U.K. in the first ever world greenery exposition and garden development competition in the year 1984, he won Gold Medal in the outdoor garden section and the prize of honor in the indoor garden section.
